It's absolutely insane to fry both sides of an egg.
The correct way is like we do it in Germany (and Austria and Switzerland): You fry the egg sunny side up with a little bit of oil on high heat with the lit put on. This will give the yolk a mirror like coating, which is why we call it Spiegelei (mirror-egg). The white should be fully cooked with a crisp on the bottom and the yolk should be either runny or soft boiled, depending on preference.

Edit: Here I'm writing all this and my man Yamaoka just casually saves all their future fried eggs... and then no one does it -.-
Makes me wonder if the IFEC doesn't have a single German member.
